Donation Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of Charitable Donations

Modern Madarsa Islamia Samiti is a registered non-profit educational and social welfare society. Donations contributed through our website or direct bank transfer represent voluntary financial contributions made towards charitable objectives, such as Islamic religious studies (Hifz), modern digital education, orphan care, and food relief.

Because donations are immediately allocated towards ongoing student meals, classroom supplies, or relief drives, donations are generally non-refundable once processed.

2. Exceptional Circumstances for Refund

We understand that technical glitches or human errors may occasionally occur during online transactions. We will consider a refund request under the following specific circumstances:

• Duplicate Debits: If a donor\'s account was charged multiple times due to a server timeout or payment gateway error for a single intended donation.
• Incorrect Amount Typed: If an unintended amount was entered due to typographical mistake (for instance, entering ₹10,000 instead of ₹1,000).
• Unauthorized Card / Account Use: In genuine cases of fraudulent or unauthorized transactions reported by the legitimate cardholder.

3. Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a review for a refund, the donor must contact us within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the transaction:

• Email your written request to: mmisazm2008@gmail.com
• Subject line: “Donation Refund Request - [Transaction ID / Receipt No]”
• Include: Full Name, Date of Transaction, Amount, Payment Method (Razorpay / Cashfree / UPI), and bank statement showing the debit.

4. Processing of Approved Refunds

Upon receiving your request and verifying the circumstances with our payment gateway partner:

• Refunds will be processed back to the original source of payment (same credit card, debit card, or bank account used).
• The process generally takes 5 to 10 working days to reflect in the donor\'s account, depending on bank clearing cycles.
• Any official 80G tax receipt issued for the refunded amount shall be declared null and void in our statutory accounts.
